  i was approached by an elder about a year ago asking what i am going to do with my large collection of wt literature.

  he told me the society had put word out that they were collecting old literature.

  i asked him why but he couldn't give me a definite answer.

  Barrold, I beg to differ with you.

  I will admit that I have not been in a KH library for more than 40 years (time flies when you're living your life!), but if you were able to find ANY of Russell's or Rutherfod's crap in ANY KH library ANYWHERE, I would be gobsmacked, stunned, and would be obligated to be your butler for a time, times, and half a time.

  i stress that this is unsubtantiated and requires confirmation or quashing.. can anyone confirm or definately deny it?.

  Dear Barb,

  There are crackpots in the world and some of them know how to use email.

  Please don't take their criticisms to heart or let them detract one iota from your peace of mind, self-respect and joy. We have spoken many times and shared secrets that still are secret. I admire and have great affection for both you and Joe (my bravest t-shirt model, among many other things).

  I wish the OTHER Barbara - Barbara G. Harrison were still with us. You'se Nu Yawkas would be great together in panel discussions!

  Unlike some who pave the road ahead of them with promises broken and confidences betrayed, you have always been a person of integrity and conscience; that is how you were compelled to get involved in this exhausting and often thankless work.

  There is ONLY ONE Barb Anderson, and she is on OUR SIDE!

  In my opinion, if they are a consenting adult, it could be an act of mercy. I don't agree with the dogma that extended suffering refines the soul. We do not have souls, and we are not souls. We are made of meat and we are born, suffer, and die like meat. Suicide can be a rational way to cheat the reaper.

  Dennis and Lucy probably realized that their religion had lied to them and tricked them into believing a fairy-tale. With no everlasting life in Paradise as restored vital young adults to look forward to, they were lefy staring at the unspeakable horror of disease and decrepitude laid out like a banquet-table before them.

  "Eat your fill," ghod said to the banquet-table. The table snarled in silent reply.

  2034 for the benefit of the arithmetically impaired, is 120 years after 1914. 1914 is the year King Jesus is said (by the WTB&TS) to have begun to rule. 120 years is supposedly the amount of time Noah spent selling subscrptions to AWAKE! to the antediluvians. As per the WTB&TS algorithm, take two unrelated numbers, combine them and voila! "new light" shines forth.

  The WTB&TS began making squeaks about 2034 almost a decade ago.

  i'm not far away from sending out a bunch of letters to all the jw's who i knew when i was one.

  the letters are the accumulation of the last few months of research etc.

  i've put a lot of effort into wording things just right so that that the jw's don't instantly throw it in the trash.

  I favor activism.

  Certainly it is FOR SURE that no one will benefit IF YOU DON"T DO IT.

  If you do it, it *might* help someone. It will certainly give you something to put on your accomplishments list.

  It is best that you do this with NO expectation that anyone will respond.

  That way you won't be disappointed, but may be pleased if just one person responds.

  Your letters do not need the approval of anyone else. They are YOUR letters.

  Consider the $150 a gift to the Universe.
